We are a Band That not only will play the music but give it to you in concert style. Our performances always keeps the crowds attention because we know how to deliver the music like the Artist would do it if they were there. We perform R&B, Smooth Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, and Top 40 and anything else requested.

About
NUPORT was conceived in the Early 90's a musical group made up of musicians with great chemistry which is the concept of Nuport . The name Nuport was first spelled "Newport" then recently changed to "NU" which means fresh, or newbie and "Port" meaning a harbor of music to take in or discharge. The Original Personnel was Myself-Glenn Brown: Keyboards, Vocals, Jo-Jo Humphrey: Bass, Vocals, Charles Thomas: Drums: ( Memphis) Michael McDaniels: Lead & Rythmn Guitar, Tim Baskins:Tenor Saxophone, & the Late Felix Dixon: Alto Saxophone. Since then we have re grouped and re-organized and improved our delivery and style keeping with the same concept and chemistry with current members...Glenn Brown: Keyboards, Vocals, Band leader, Windel Dancer& Zico : Bass, Vocals, Guy busch: Drums, James Sharp: Saxophone Christopher Brown: Trumpet & Chris Williams: Lead Guitar . We can perform all music genres specializing in Smooth Jazz, Funk, R&B, Blues & Top 40
Additional booking notes
we have 5 to 6 members depending on the package requirements of the event example Just Smooth Jazz or R&B or other genre or all. we have our own audio equipment and amps drums keyboards guitars and bass. we need no less than an hour for setup time but we can adjust for later time when told ahead of time.
