My biggest influences are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Smashing Pumpkins and Big Country. I have a real passion for performing and always put on a great show!

My acoustic shows are light-hearted and entertaining. I play mostly covers, with a few of my original songs thrown in. My repertoire includes songs from many eras and genres, from Louis Armstrong to ZZ Top. You'll hear songs that you love and songs that you forgot that you loved.
Matt Sams is a singer/songwriter and producer from the Chicago area. He has been performing music and writing songs for over twenty years. Influenced by classic and alternative rock bands like: The Who, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Big Country.
Matt has written and recorded over 700 songs and continues to create every day.
I will be performing with an acoustic guitar. No special setup is necessary. I will use my amplification if the room is large or the audience is larger than 20 or 30 people.
