Martin was the guitarist at our wedding at Scenic Beach State Park, providing the music for the wedding ceremony and the socializing afterwards. He was throughout the event very professional and above and beyond in his preparation, accommodating the challenges of the outdoor venue and having multiple guitars tuned to handle our requests for the ceremony. His performance was excellent, proving very popular with both ourselves and our guests, and we were thrilled to have him as part of our wedding day. Absolutely would recommend.

About
Martin Budde is professional guitarist, composer and educator based in Seattle WA. He is a top call guitarist and composer in the Seattle area and west coast and works with the west coast's top jazz Luminaries such as Jaqueline Tabor and Jay Thomas. Martin was nominated by Earshot Jazz as emerging artists of the year in 2024 and his cofounded group Meridian Odyessey which received accolades as on of the top 15 Seattle records of 2020 for their first album and second full length album “Earthshine” was voted as one of the top 20 Seattle releases in 2022 also winning best Jazz Recording from Earshot Jazz Organization. Martin’s sophomore record "Back Burner" was released spring of 2024 on Origin Records and has been reviewed internationally. He has performed at The Moore Theater, The Triple Door, Earshot Jazz Festival, Havana Jazz Plaza Festival extensively in the Seattle and west coast and Canada and Internationally in Barcelona, The Cayman Islands, and Cuba. Originally from Small town Alaska he has attended Idyllwild Arts Academy, New England Conservatory and has a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in music.
