I sing and play ukulele. I do a few covers and a few originals. Mostly I just try to have fun and make sure people enjoy themselves

I’m Mario Carpio. I’m just a regular guy. I grew up in the small town of kernersville North Carolina. I’ve got that southern hospitality with everything that I do. Three years ago, I got tired of the small town southern life. I also didn’t want to live with my parents anymore. I quit both of my jobs and moved out of the house at 19. I spent a month living in my car and travel through the south. Towards the end of that month, I decided it was time to finally settle down somewhere and make a new life. That place was here in Los Angeles. I moved in with my grandparents for two years and now have my own place with roommates in north hollywood. I spend my time either working or practicing singing and ukulele. I remember being five years old and wanting to sing. I’ve loved singing ever since I can remember. I’ve been a closet singer most of my life. Never singing in front of anyone because of how terrifying it was. It wasn’t until a little over a year ago when I decided to record a video and put it out on YouTube. I’ve done a couple of videos since then and want to continue to do more. I’m finally starting to see a little glimpse of the life I’ve wanted since I was a little kid. I’m ready to get into the spotlight and show the world what I’ve got. I’m here for a good time
