Marianne’s Music

Once we connect, we will have an interview to determine if we are a good fit for each other. There is no cost to this. You can lay out for me what your event entails and what kind of music you are looking for. We will discuss the venue and piano availability, as well as duration required for the music. Once all details have been considered, I will give you a quote.

On the event day, I will be present ahead of time to ensure that the music will begin and close seamlessly, with no stress for the host/hostess. Expect professionalism and efficiency from Marianne and/or her cohorts. All communication will be clear, concise, and timely.

Marianne has been on the Calgary music scene for 40 years. She has performed in numerous venues as a soloist, as well as a collaborative artist with vocalists, choirs, strings, and winds. She is currently on faculty at Mount Royal University as an instructor as well as a collaborative artist for their renowned Academy program. Her students are also known to win competitions and perform gigs of their own. Many become professional pianists.

Although Marianne performs primarily classical music, she often prepares requested pieces of other genres to suit the needs of the client. Her experience and maturity make her a reliable choice when it comes to event music.
