May 8, 2019Bea was awesome for our wedding - she drove out to the venue earlier before the event to go over some photo of spots for us, and day of, when the venue had messed some things up, not only was she able to be flexible and still capture some amazing photos but she also went to bat for us and refused to let the photo opportunities be ruined. She is a stand up gal and awesome to work with, really listens and really captured exactly what we were wanting for our photos! She was amazing!!

April 11, 2019The entire experience was very positive! Beah had a great attitude. Prior to arriving in Boulder from Houston, she sent us a list of places to visit. She selected two beautiful spots for our shoot. She balanced a casual conversation with us yet gave us enough space to capture moments. The digital images were available within a week. They are stunning! I’m printing several out and sharing with the entire family.

Hello! My name is Maria Bea, but I go by my childhood nickname Beah (pronounced Leah but with a B). I fell in love with photography while living abroad in Prague during my last year in college. I got my first camera for the trip and traveled to new countries through its lens.
After my time abroad, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in film and television. I worked for four seasons on the Emmy award winning true crime series A Crime to Remember as a Background Casting Coordinator, Associate Producer, and Story Producer. I continued photography as a hobby and by photographing my friend's weddings.
I moved to Colorado in 2017 to concentrate on my photography. Since the move I have shot eight weddings and have also started doing headshot, portrait, and family sessions.
My photographic approach is very natural. I like to feel out what is best for the couple and then capture the authenticity of the day and their relationship.
