Margaret Moody Puppets

Margaret was wonderful and very patient with kids. She let kids play with puppets before starting the show and once the show started, kids were so involved and had fun. The puppet show setup was excellent with lights, cutouts and sounds and those little puppets are so cute.

Margaret performed Monkey Makes Mischief to a group of 5-9 year olds for my son’s 6th birthday party. The kids loved it and was totally engaged with the characters. She was so impressive with her puppeteering and storytelling, especially the fight scene choreography! She also has a wonderful calm demeanor that engages children while keeping the whole environment impressively non-chaotic for a bunch of 6 year old boys! The kids loved trying the puppets and doing the crafts after the show.

We had to make a last-minute venue change for a 5 year old's birthday party due to rain. Fortunately we were able to book Margaret for a puppet show. I was amazed that she was able to captivate and hold the attention of nearly 25 (!!) kids for 30 minutes. More importantly -- my daughter told me the puppet show was her highlight of the birthday weekend. Thanks for saving the day Margaret!

My liberty Kids Preschool loved the puppet show. She arrived on time. The children enjoyed it. It was really fun and interactive.

Margaret was awesome to work with. Never done this before, and she made it easy to book. She was on time to setup and was fantastic with the little kids. My daughter LOVED every minute of it.

Ms. Moody held the interest of 15 high schoolers as they entered the magical world of puppetry. She not only interacted with her audience but held their interest for the entire time! My students were left highly motivated and couldn't wait to create a lesson of their own containing their choice of story method.

Margaret was absolutely amazing!! She was so patient and extremely kind. The children (5-10) loved the monkey king, they were interacting with the puppets and so excited for the story. We also had a puppet making session after which was more than I imagined. Margaret brought all the materials and helped the children make puppets. She also let them use her puppets and play in front of her stage. I can’t say enough good things about Margaret, she was an absolute delight and so good with children!

The tale of the Monkey King was a big hit with our group. You wouldn't necessarily think a puppet show would keep a group of 30+ adults entertained, but she did it. Really remarkable work she was able to do with just two hands and some simple puppets and basic sound effects. The story moved quickly and was very engaging.
After the show she graciously hung out and showed everyone who wanted to see the puppets and other props, even get to play with them a little.

Margarets' puppet show was a hit!! Our children have a disability and their attention span is low, she had them all into it. I would hire her again.

I hired Margaret for an interview and she was simply amazing! Very classy, wonderful attitude, wide and beautiful tuneful voice and very smart in handling the discussion. The interview took more time than expected, as the production team were fixing the lights and microphones, but she kept her good mood all the time. I will absolutely hire her again in the future.

Margaret is a warm considerate person and great with children. Her puppet show for our 4 year old daughter's birthday party was a hit! She clearly is an expert in her craft. It's hard to believe there was only one person behind the stage with the various voices, puppet animation and synchronized music. The children also quite enjoyed the puppet making activity after the show. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Margaret again.

Margaret was lovely to work with and the puppet show and puppet making activity after was the perfect amount of entertainment for the 6-7 year olds at the party. The Matilda puppet show that she performed was funny and engaging and parents loved it too. I had many parents ask where I found her. Thank you Margaret for a wonderful show!

We had Margaret come to our daughters 5th birthday party. She performed a very nice puppet show. All 8 kids were mesmerized by the show, but the real hit came afterwards with the puppet making! The children loved that, she brought all the materials and taught them to make their own! Then, the children performed their own puppet show. It was lovely!!!! Margaret was very sweet with the children and accommodating. Also, she came to our party during a snow storm, so really really grateful for that!!
