Overview

*VIRTUAL EVENT ONLY*

Enter the mall to win it all! MALL NIGHT LONG is a virtual game show experience for hire, where I’ll join you and your friends and family on Zoom in a retro-inspired virtual mall, where each store is a different game or challenge. There are 7 different games; a word game, name-that-tune, a pricing game, a game about movie ratings, a game about junk food, and more. The difficulty is suitable for a casual audience, and is designed to feel like being on a TV game show.

2-12 players, 90-120 minutes. No apps or special equipment other than a stable zoom connection are required.

Priced to be accessible for families and small groups. Contact now for retro game show fun!

Gig length: 90 - 120 minutes

What to expect

This event is conducted entirely over Zoom, with a full audio/video multimedia presentation including music, video, and live-updated scoreboards throughout the event. The group is broken up into two teams, each with a team captain, who competes in 7 different games throughout the event. The humor is family-friendly, and the games themselves are infused with a heavy dose of the 80s and 90s influences.

The games are a combination of timed “shout-out-the-answer” games and more collaborative games where teams can discuss their responses. The difficulty level is suitable for a casual audience (no need to be a trivia champion to win!)

About

Chris Michaud is the former host of the Flip the Table podcast, designer of the board game Roll Estate, and is a lifelong fan of TV game shows.

Additional booking notes

Only a stable zoom connection is required to play. A desktop or laptop gives the best experience, but the game is playable from any mobile device that supports zoom. More than one player can join from the same device. No other app download or special equipment is required.
