This review is NOT AGAINST THE STAFF. They were trying their best.
Good afternoon, my 10 friends/family members and I attended the show last night at The Meetball Place in Patchogue. We are all extremely disappointed to say the least. Not your issue but spaghetti and meetballs for $90? A little pricey don't you think? It was advertised we would receive beer and wine pairings for 6 courses. I feel that fell short. Then the show... it was NOTHING like we expected. It was chaos. People forgetting lines or the story? Fumbling all over their words? It was soooo dragged out for absolutely no point. No one even got murdered until there was 25 minutes left of the show. When you go to a murder mystery you expect a story line, interactive audience members, and then clues through out to find out who the murderer was. I felt like I was at a middle school play and no one knew what was going on. Especially with the RANDOM dancing and congo line? What was that about? Then the game carrying tennis balls into buckets? Where does that come into play with a murder mystery dinner? I feel like this was a total miss in every way possible and we are all so upset we wasted $90 on this disaster. A total of $990 not including drinks we ordered. What a let down.

We are so sorry you didn’t enjoy the show. Much of what you saw was to keep a high energy, fun atmosphere. We’re not an Agatha Christie, don’t blink or you’ll miss something type show. Again we’re sorry you didn’t enjoy it. We hope you’ll give us another chance sometime when you’re looking to laugh and enjoy yourself like the rest of the audience did last night. We didn’t get out of there for over an hour after the show last night because other audience members were talking with us, saying how much they enjoyed themselves.
That Meetball Place treats us and their customers with the highest level of respect and their food is fantastic.
We’ll be there again on 12/20! Would love to see you and everyone in there!!

I'm thrilled to write a review for Knock 'Em Dead Comedy. You will love them. They are a smart and hilarious group of people. The person I dealt with to book the event listened to everything I needed and I couldn't have asked for it to go smoother. They know how to put on a fantastic show, they are so funny your stomach will hurt after awhile, they love what they do and it shows. People are still talking about what a great time they had that night. I would book them again in a heartbeat.

Our murder mysteries not only make you laugh hysterically, but are interactive, and have you witness and try to solve a murder. Our shows consist of games and music, with audience participation as well. All of our shows can be PG-13 or as family friendly as you want. Whether it's a family show or a wild party, we can handle it.
We can cater to most special requests to make the show more personal for you and your audience. If it's a holiday, we can make our show have a holiday theme. All of our shows consist of audience participation and improvisation. We guarantee unforgettable laughter.

I just wanted to thank you for your talent and efforts last night on behalf of The Sons of Italy, The Sons of the American Legion and The American Legion. Thanks to you our fund raiser was a resounding success. Everyone had a raucus and rollicking good time. The best part was the audience participation. Our members did not expect to be part of the show, and it made it all the sweeter. Many of them thought that this was going to be the same boring "dinner dance" or "testimonial" fund raiser.
