With business associates, friends or family on stage, Makin' Larvae never fails to seek a fun loving positive tone. No one is made fun of, we only have fun together.
The show's setup, conflict, and resolution is tight and polished, bringing the audience a clear, satisfying conclusion. Watch the transformation, as your family friends or associates become so much more.
Since this is an insect story, drop images are a bit oversized. It all happens down the hill, in the sleepy little bog, behind the humans house. Its dusk, the sounds of crickets and the soft lights of firefly's.
Enter the show host/narrator 'Bulb', a giant firefly,.
He begins to shape the audience into the 'community' that will become the orchestra, sounds effects, and act out the story together. Music from all genres, sets the uplifting tone and provides punctuation throughout the story.
Five audience members join Bulb. Aunt Bee, the Queen. Nurse Hatchet, queens attendant. Polly, the future queen. Wally, pollen jockey with a heart of gold, and Buzz, a blue-bottle house fly.
Finally Science and Comedy agree. Who knew Honey Bees were so funny!

Additional Booking Notes
Ideal stage situation
18" risers 20'x 40'
While we are always prepared to work with varied conditions, ideal storytelling occurs, in situations where performer and audience have intimate proximity to each other.
This is enhanced by the use of low stage risers. Intimacy, does not however mean small groups.
It means easy access for
storyteller and audience alike, to cross the performance wall and successfully interact.
