The Mac Heat story began when Tom (Guitar) and Michelle (Vocals) realized they shared the exact same vision: to build a powerhouse, highly successful band rooted in the timeless genres of Funk, Soul, and Blues. To bring that vision to life, they recruited top-tier musicians to form a sharp, four-piece lineup. After curating a stellar song list and putting in intense rehearsal hours, they hit the ground running and started gigging immediately.
The band's landscape evolved rapidly. The addition of a full-time saxophone player transformed Mac Heat into a five-piece unit and instantly elevated their sound. Along with a shifting of gears behind the drum kit, this new era propelled the band onto larger stages and into bigger venues.
Today, Mac Heat has grown into a formidable seven-piece regional collective featuring a blazing three-piece horn section and four core players and singers. Fronted by the commanding, powerhouse vocals of Michelle Heaton and backed by the sweet harmonies and infectious grooves of an all-star band of soul aficionados, Mac Heat is here to help you fill your ears with sonic candy dripping with soulfulness.
