Our law firm hired Brother's Keeper to perform for an all-attorney/staff happy hour (attended by @125 people). They were fantastic! Super-talented, very easy to work with, responsive, and fun. Those attending the reception had universally positive reviews about the very talented band. They played original and cover music - all of it was top-notch.
I would highly recommend them for any event.

Received so many compliments about these guys. They were truly awesome and had the best sound. Highly recommend them for any event. I will definitely be using them again.

July 20, 2019Barbeque and Blues- Awesome!
Cullen (Brother's Keeper) and Jordan (Pressing Strings) were fantastic. Playing outdoors in oppressive heat in the middle of July, this fact did nothing to subdue the passion and soul they put into thier music. Not only that, but they braved DC traffic on a Friday afternoon to drive 3 hours south, and still started on time.
The crowd loved it! Though drenched in sweat, attendees braved the heat and were captivated through the entire performance by an hour long set of original music. Those who weren't there initially, were drawn out of thier residences by the music.
I cannot recommend them enough!

Our community absolutely loved their witty sense of humor and their style of cover music (some of their own as well!). Overall a huge success. They were professional, punctual, and just a bunch of really cool guys. Definitely will rehire next year!

We consider ourselves perpetual students of music and take pride in providing feel good music that will have you nodding your head and moving your feet.
We draw influence from r&b, funk, hip-hop, blues, rock, jazz as well as latin and afro-grooves. Whatever we play, it's got to have soul!
Whether you want an intimate, acoustic performance as a duo or a larger, electric sound with full band backing us, we can customize a lineup to fit the mood of your event.
In addition, we aim to conduct ourselves with professionalism that matches the mood of your event.
About
Honest Lee Soul was founded by Rahsaan "Wordslave" Eldridge with vocals/percussion and Cullen DeChant on guitar/vocals.
We formed as a duo in 2017 playing private parties and public venues and have steadily gained traction in the DC, Maryland & Virginia market performing publicly and privately.
Our debut EP was released in August of 2018 and it contains all original material written by both Cullen and Rahsaan.
As time moved on, we grew musically and in numbers adding Reggie Maddox on bass, Devin Brown on drums and Kirk Meyers on keys.
In May of 2022, we released our first full length album, One Life and celebrated our album release at Ram's Head on Stage in Annapolis, MD.
More recently, we released our single, Testify in May of 2023 as a prelude to our second full length album set to release by the end of 2023.
