Overview
Lyric Todkill holds a degree in Bagpipe performance from Carnegie Mellon University and is the director of the St. Thomas’ Episcopal School Pipe Band in Houston, Texas. A member of the World-Champion St. Thomas’ Alumni Pipe Band Band, he has had the honor of performing for President George H. Bush, members of the armed forces on various USO tours, in Washington D.C., Spain, Italy, and Guantanamo Bay. Other concert highlights include performances with the Chieftans, the Piano Guys, Eric Hutchinson, the double Grammy-winning group Quarteto Latino Americano, Pittsburgh's Civic Light Opera, the United States Air Force Orchestra, and the American Rogues.

Lyric was great. Of course with a memorial service nothing went as planned but he rolled with it and it was perfect

What to expect
1 or more bagpipers and/or drummers arriving in full highland regalia. Music consultation included as well prompt service when organizing your event. The performers are always extremely flexible and sensitive to the situation. Indoor/outdoor performances are common and we can cater our performance to fit your event needs.

Owner Lyric Todkill holds a degree in bagpiping from Carnegie Mellon University and each of the Toddytone musicians has at least a decade of experience competing in grade 1 pipe bands and is a major prize winner in the professional solo ranks. In addition to providing funeral and wedding music, we can tailor the music of the pipes and drums for any event. We even collaborate with other musicians and groups in Houston and around the world to fuse the soulful traditions of the bagpipe with all kind of musical genres.
