What to expect

ill show up about an hour early to set up chairs. the mic and the speaker. I'll try to get some music going. Depending on the length of the show I might bring a friend to host.

I'll probably do a some light crowd work to loosen everyone up before going into any material.

my goal is for everyone to have a good time and for you to look super smart and awesome for hiring a comedian.

About

Hey there, party person.

I see you’re looking to hire a comedian for your private party or corporate event, and I just want to be the first to say…
that comedian should probably not be me.

You see, I’m a rebel. A renegade. A maverick, if you will.
And I just don’t know if your event can handle the rough stylings of Luis DeJesus.

I’m not just a 7-year veteran of the Houston stand-up scene.
I’m not just a finalist in last year’s “Funniest Comic in Houston” competition.
I’m an ARTIST.
And there’s no amount of capital that can change that.

So if you do book me for your private party or corporate event, just know:
Your guests are in for the ride of their very-much-in-bed-by-11pm, 401K-managing, mid-tier wine-sipping lives.

Because when I hit that stage — cobbled together from two jack pallets and a dream — I let loose.

I talk about job hunting.
I talk about being broke.
I talk about helping my mom with her homework when she decides to go back to school.

And if you and your guests aren’t prepared for my PG-13 musings on life as an aggressively average 28-year-old man?
Then maybe you need someone else.

But if you’re ready… I’ll bring the funny.

Additional booking notes

We would need to FaceTime so I can see the space. ideally I'll make a trip so I can feel out the area you want to have this show. We may want to more some chairs and stuff around to create a good environment for comedy.

I've put on lots of shows in unconventional locations and it's a bit more than most people think. What we really need is enough chairs for everyone to be comfortable and a space carved out for the "stage"

I can bring a speaker, microphones and a mic stand. I can also bring music.

Influences and inspiration

I've helped produce Don't Tell comedy shows. Ive also helped run shows at The Riot Comedy Club in Houston.

As far as comedy. Hannibal Buress, Louis C.K. Garry Goldman.
