Lucy surprised my daughter at her birthday gathering with friends on a rooftop setting in Manhattan. She showed up exactly on time after having been in close communication with me and the hostess. She sang and played guitar; including all the songs I requested! She was so professional and energetic, engaging with the group of young professionals beautifully. They absolutely adored her and already talk of using her again! Lucy replied immediately to my request, calling me and spending time planning on the phone. It was a fantastic experience working with her!!

Getting out of New York and seeing what California life was all about inspired East coast native to travel the country over a decade ago when she began performing regularly while living out of a van. Soothing and awakening all at once people describe Lucy Morningstar and her soulful reggae music as fun, catchy & bound to spark joy in your heart making you wanna dance. Melodic, improvisational and uplifting, the songs tell stories about the trials and tribulations that we encounter on our way. Lucy’s multi-instrumental productions and recognizable sound have become a sought after resource & the foundation of her career as an artist. Performing live and bringing people together are what it’s all about and Lucy Morningstar Band features musicians who care deeply about the message in the music.
