LL&PFP brings all of their own gear to a show, indoors or out, and takes up no more than a 10' x 10' piece of real estate. No stage required. We typically use small amplifiers that can run on battery power if necessary. We play at comfortable volume levels that won't drown out conversations. Music sets are 45-50 minutes long and we can provide up to 4 hours of music for an event. While on short breaks between sets, we cue up music for uninterrupted ambiance. As a performing guitar duo that features original songs, we typically won't play cover music unless requested in advance of the event date.
LL&PFP is the acoustic guitar duo of Larry Frick and Patrick Kaulback. The band name honors a home brew creation by Liquid Larry and Pale Face Pat. Our music is a blend of folk, pop, country, blues and jazz and features all original compositions by PFP. Larry is a hardworking guitar master from Orinda who has performed with many local rock and blues bands in the Bay Area. Patrick resides in Pleasant Hill and has been singing since he got his first Beatles album back in 1970. Together, LL&PFP blend mellow guitars and vocals for a comfortable and accessible variety of fresh music.
We bring all the gear we need for the event. No stage required. We don't bring lighting. Our only requirement is a little bit of room to set up, no more than 10' x 10'.

We are similar to other acoustic guitar acts who perform in the busker fashion playing cover music, except that we offer original music influenced by folk, indie, rock, country, blues, and jazz. Our sound has been compared to The Beatles and Paul Simon, with a broad categorization as soft rock.
