Contemporary Bluegrass band combining vocal harmony and acoustic instrumentation. Vocals are shared among multiple band members including female and male leads and three part harmony. Instruments include guitar, banjo/dobro, fiddle/mandolin, bodhran (Irish drum), and upright bass. Setlist often includes songs like I'll Stay Around, Shady Grove, Will the Circle be Unbroken, and Wildflowers, along with a few original songs from the band.
Able to provide all sound equipment.

A Dayton band playing contemporary and traditional bluegrass
Lemongrass originated in Dayton, OH in 2021 combining family and friends into a five-piece bluegrass outfit. Twin brothers Matt Lemon (fiddle, mandolin, vocals) and Chris Lemon (banjo, dobro, vocals) started playing bluegrass in 2012 as part of the band North & South along with Joe Bowsman. After Joe passed away, they started Lemongrass with Matt's wife Maura (bodhran, vocals) and friend Chip Pritchard (bass) who brought many years of experience from the Repeating arms and church choir. Jeff Martin (guitar) completes the group. Playing style leaves room for instrumental breaks to complement strong vocal harmony.
