Dick started his quest for Leadership and Accountability knowledge and application as a young man in Boy Scouting. From there it has been a journey with Stephen Covey, Denis Waitely, and John C. Maxwell. He has gone from Scouting to a 30 year career, to company spokesperson and the builder of several successful companies.He is a Certified Life Purpose and Career Coach – Life Purpose Institute and a Certified Teach, Speaker, Coach – John C. In today’s public school system, no special attention is given to subjects like: interpersonal skills, problem resolution, teamwork, or leadership skills in general. Even at the college level, Bachelor’s Degree students receive a superficial and theoretical understanding of some leadership principles but very little attention is paid to applying and using these skills.

Dick’s leadership and outdoor experience began as a Boy Scout and was developed through his experience and training working at General Telephone Co. for 30 years. Dick worked his way up from the Line Crew to be the Department Head of Training and Instruction. Professionally, Dick has started many new companies as well as growing existing companies through his knowledge of the everyday workings both at the executive level and the craft level.

Dick has unique blend of hands-on, self-made experience combined with true stories on Leadership in action and Personal Accountability from a daily perspective. He provides practical tools that are well founded in personal experience and can be understood and applied by everyone.
