Overview
There's nothing like clean , hilarious comedy that the whole family can enjoy. Growing up in a Christian household I know for sure that "church folk" love to laugh. Laughter is one of God's gifts that makes the heart merry and I am passionate about bringing my ministry with tasteful humor to churches and family events everywhere. Taking the time to tailor my act to accommodate the uniqueness of each event is my standard, to assure that those that request my services always feel special.
I've been blessed to open for some of the biggest names in comedy such as D.L. Hughley and have become one of the most requested headliners in the D.M.V. area.

This is the second consecutive year we have had the pleasure of James Lawson’s comedy routine at our church anniversary “joy night” celebration! We called him back because he did a wonderful job last year and he was even better the second time around! He blessed all who attended and several people asked for his information so that they could book him for their upcoming events! He really connects with his audience and seems to have an acute feel for the room! I had many people tell me that they felt this was the best joy night we have ever had. I believe that Mr. Lawson contributed greatly to bring about such sentiment!

We had the pleasure of having Comedian James Lawson perform at our 150th Church Anniversary celebration, and he was absolutely phenomenal!! From the moment he took the stage, he had our congregation laughing, smiling, and thoroughly entertained.
James brought the perfect balance of clean, family friendly humor, professionalism, and positive energy that made our special event even more memorable. His ability to connect with people of all ages and create an atmosphere of joy was truly remarkable.
Our guest are still talking about his performance and the laughter he brought to the celebration. He helped make our 150th Anniversary a truly unforgettable occasion.

James Lawson performed at the 75th birthday party for my husband. His jokes were wholesome and very funny. The group of approx. 50 people thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. I would definitely recommend him for any event.
