I would recommend this quartet for any event! A friend suggested Lavandula Strings when I was looking for musicians to play at my wedding. They quickly replied to my request when I contacted them through their website, and were very professional and friendly. They were also easy to coordinate with leading up to the wedding, and helped suggest music that would suit the day. The quartet so talented and made the day truly special and memorable. I could not have imagined my wedding without them!

I first discovered Lavandula Strings through DU's Lamont School of Music. This quartet, along with a few others, was recommended to me for a private event. Joy Yamaguchi, first violinist for Lavandula Strings, was the first person to reply to my request, and she was professional, timely, and very helpful. The event was my mother's 90th birthday party, a surprise, and coordinating this with Joy was seamless. Having this charming, talented group of musicians play my mom's favorite classical pieces was a dream come true. Our family still talks about the magic of the party, and the highlight was this string quartet. They played many requested songs as well as a special Irish tribute for my mom and the Happy Birthday song. The music was beautiful and flawless, each song flowing into the other. Additionally, the musicians were friendly and easily conversed with family members at the event. We all enjoyed getting to meet them and have them be a part of the party. I highly recommend this quartet for any event!
