Born into a musical family, listening to phenomenal artists such as Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and Aretha Franklin, Lauryn combines different genres and produces something unique.
Inspired by spending just one summer at Amazing Grace Conservatory with Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lauryn pursued musical theatre in her junior year in high school and graduated from Howard University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, known today, as the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts.
After gaining recognition performing with a renowned cover band, Lauryn shifted her focus to her solo career, delivering original music inspired by love, personal growth, and lived experience to audiences across the world.
Her expertise has been sought internationally, including a featured performance at the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru.
