Lauren has been playing harp since the age of eight years old, starting out in a harp ensemble in Williamsburg, Virginia. She got her Bachelors in Music Performance studying under Monica Hargrave, a professional harpist in the Atlanta area who is the harp professor at the University of Georgia. Lauren frequently plays out at hospice homes and has played at weddings, art gallery openings, luncheons and charity and benefit events. She has been the principal harpist for the Athens Youth Symphony, the Athens Symphony, and the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra. She recently has relocated to Portland, Maine!
