I am the Executive Director & Curator of the Langston Hughes Family Museum and carry the message of history regarding Langston Hughes and the Hughes Family. We also instruct attendees how to research their own family history. This traveling museum offers over 175+ pieces of family artifacts with each piece telling a story. A lecture is given that tells about Langston Hughes and his peers. In a 100 mile radius travel or lodging expenses are not required. The nominal fee of $600.00 is required for appearance. Generally, we serve as the keynote speaker but we can also be used as a filler in a program.

Influences & Inspiration
The influence that made the biggest difference is the discovery of the importance of Langston Hughes in the world of poetry. And being able to recall childhood memories of his visits to our home and now understanding how important those times were.
