My purpose is to see generations of God-glorifying, Jesus following, Spirit-led, and gospel-centered men and women leading their families for the sake of Christ.
I lead equipping workshops (Parent Academy) for Christian parents who have children or teenagers in the home and who want equipping to engage in discipleship more effectively. The workshops will engage, inform, and equip parents to feel confident in being the primary disciple-makers of their children. One of my other ministries (More Than a Catch) is helping fathers and older men to pursue the hearts of the young men in their lives with the gospel. Finally, I also speak to youth groups for events or retreats.

All my speaking engagements are meant to engage, inform, and equip parents to disciple their children and teenagers. The main vehicle for this is through workshops that include times of learning, sharing, and planning. At the end of each workshop parents will walk away with tools and resources that they will be equipped to use to be a disciple-making home.

Hi, my name is Kyle Bjerga. I am a follower of Jesus Christ who loves the church, loves families, and wants to see the church and home partner together in the discipleship of children, teenagers, and young adults. I’ve been serving voluntarily or vocationally for sixteen years as a youth leader/pastor and currently serve as the Pastor of Discipleship and Family Ministries at Cityview Community Church in Elmhurst, IL.
God has blessed me with an amazing family. My high school sweetheart, Jackie, and I have been married for eleven years and we have three boys: Carson, Parker, and Bryant.
My experience and passion make me an ideal speaker to bring into your church or school to help equip parents and youth leaders while at the same time offering encouragement, support, and resources to children, youth, and family directors and/or pastors.
The fee for each booking will fall between $200-$1,000 depending on the following factors: duration of workshop (an hour-long workshop, a half-day seminar, or a full weekend retreat), the number of attendees, and miles traveled for the event.
For every workshop, a projector and sound system will be required. Depending on the size of the venue and number attending a microphone maybe be required.
If your group would like to record video and/or audio that would be made accessible to others in your church or organization to view that is allowed. Please provide a copy of the finished audio and/or video to me after the event that will be used for future promotion.
