Whether you're organizing a black tie gala, a birthday party, or looking for that "WOW!" factor to start off a convention or meeting, a violinist who has studied at prestigious music schools, is the four-time state of Ohio fiddle champ, and has played hundreds of private and corporate events in Las Vegas, Nevada, and all over the United States is a pretty good bet.

(That violinist would be me, of course.)

Wearing everything from sequin dresses to black gowns, playing pop, rock, R&B, country, and classical music, my performing experience spans over thirty years and more zip codes than I can count. I own and set up my own sound system, edit and compile my own custom backing tracks, and have an extensive song list for you to choose from - and can learn any requests you have (provided they are agreed to in advance).

It means that when you hire me, you aren't just getting "another violinist". You're getting an experienced professional that you can entrust to give your guests the "WOW!" factor they'll be talking about long after it's over!

After all, a violinist playing Earth, Wind & Fire is pretty cool; one who can break into Devil Went Down To Georgia is also fun. Oh, and then there's the lush, dreamy melodies of Ellie Goulding, the sweetness of Ed Sheeran, and the irresistible dance beats of Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. And the night isn't complete without at least one verse of "Don't Stop Believin'"... am I right?

Krista Solars has performed on national television with Reik and Chayanne at the Latin Grammys and Latin Billboard Awards, with Imagine Dragons for the Stanley Cup in 2018, with Wayne Newton, and - as a member of various ensembles – has opened for superstars Blondie, Rachel Platten, Pentatonix, Ted Nugent, and Lenny Kravitz. She has performed all over the United States, and in Canada, with various ensembles spanning her 28-year career.

Krista is the four-time state of Ohio fiddle champ, winning countless other competitions around the Midwest in her twenty years of participating in local and regional fiddling contests. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's, both in Violin Performance, from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music respectively. For four years, Krista lived and worked in Las Vegas, performing at every major casino property in private/corporate settings, as well as lounges, playing pop, rock, and country music covers, on both acoustic and electric violin. Currently, Krista is working on a collection of original songs, soon to be released.

For acoustic performances: stage with roof overhead in case of inclement weather, and lighting as might be appropriate. (We do not have any lighting of our own.)

For amplified performances: if you provide the sound system, Krista will need an XLR with phantom power (for DI box / pedalboard), a place to plug an A/C adapter (pedalboard), one stage monitor, and one vocal microphone (if speaking is desired; this is at event planner's discretion). If WE provide sound system, all we need is a place to plug in A/C adapters nearby; we will take care of the rest. In EITHER case, if the event is outdoors, overhead roof in case of inclement weather is still required, and we do not have any lighting equipment, so that will need to be taken care of by appropriate personnel.
