About
Mrs. Shekhina Levi – KINA (The Prophetic Poet)
“Available for all ages, for all occasions”
“Walk it, talk it, live it—success.” “I’m better than blessed because I’m blessed by the Best.” These signature mottos reflect the heart, message, and ministry of Shekhina “Kina” Levi.
Shekhina is a multiracial Messianic Jewish believer in Yeshua (Jesus), a prophetic poet, and a faith-based psychotherapist committed to healing, transformation, and purpose. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Licensed Behavioral Consultant, and Certified Trauma Therapist based in Montgomery County, PA, she brings over 25 years of counseling experience into every space she enters.
With over 8 years of experience as a speaker and spoken word artist, Kina has ministered and performed in churches, schools, detention centers, conferences, and community organizations. Her impactful work with youth, young adults, and families has earned her numerous certificates of appreciation. Known for her bold, interactive delivery, she moves beyond the microphone—engaging audiences through storytelling, drama, music, and prophetic spoken word. Her signature style weaves inspirational parables and unforgettable mottos that leave lasting impressions.
Kina’s work uniquely blends expressive arts with therapy. She uses poetry as both a clinical and spiritual tool to help individuals explore emotions, confront trauma, and experience transformation. She believes, “People often move forward with time, but never move on from past hurts…there’s a difference between getting over and overcoming.” Her mission is to help individuals identify the root of dysfunctional behaviors, break cycles of trauma, toxic patterns, and generational wounds, while growing in their relationship with Yeshua.
She holds a Master of Science from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the Center for Urban Theological Studies (CUTS), accredited by Geneva College. Throughout her ministry journey, she has served as a youth leader across multiple ministries, mentoring and guiding young people in faith and purpose.
Shekhina is the owner of The Counselor’s Heart Therapeutic Services (CHEART Services), established in 2019, where she provides faith-based, evidence-based therapy that integrates biblical principles with clinical practice. Her eclectic approach combines multiple therapeutic models with scripture to create a holistic path to healing for children, teens, adults, and families.
Her professional background includes working as an Employment Specialist and Case Manager, teaching life skills to at-risk youth, facilitating poetry therapy workshops, and serving as an activity therapist within the prison system, providing mental health and group therapy through creative expression. She also leads Stage It Up Youth Theater Group, a therapeutic drama program that helps young people heal through the arts.
Since 2009, Kina has merged her passion for human services and poetry, using spoken word as both a ministry and a form of therapy. Throughout the years, she has actively promoted poetry events and talent showcases, creating platforms for artists to express themselves and grow in their craft.
Kina has performed in “Prayers of the Righteous Availeth Much” and made history as the first spoken-word artist to be aired on local gospel radio (Gospel Highway 11 and WDAS AM) with her single “First Love.” She also became the first spoken word artist to perform on the Unity Day gospel stage in 25 years.
In 2025, she published her therapeutic poetry book, “Childhood Dreams: Poetry from a Child’s Mind,” expanding her impact through literary healing and creative expression.
Today, Kina continues to mentor and train emerging poets while using her voice, her clinical practice, and her platforms to inspire healing across generations.
Her mission remains clear:
“My poetry has one purpose—to convict hearts, convince minds, and touch souls for Christ.”

Influences and inspiration
Shekhina’s style is deeply shaped by both spiritual and artistic influences. First and foremost, her greatest influence is God, grounding every message in faith, purpose, and prophetic expression. She draws inspiration from the Word of God, allowing scripture and spiritual insight to guide her voice, tone, and delivery.
Artistically, she is inspired by the powerful voice and literary brilliance of Maya Angelou, whose ability to blend storytelling, rhythm, and truth continues to influence Shekhina’s poetic flow and presence. She also resonates with the strength, vulnerability, and authenticity found in female poets such as Jill Scott, Jessica Care Moore, and other dynamic women in spoken word who use their voices to uplift, heal, and empower.
Shekhina’s work reflects a fusion of prophetic ministry, classic poetic storytelling, and contemporary spoken word—creating a style that is bold, therapeutic, and spiritually transformative.
