Key Up

We bring a touch of class and pizzazz to any public event or private cocktail party or businsess function. We know how to turn the volume down so as to create an upbeat atmosphere what won't drown out the conversation between your guests.

We alternate between high energy dance tunes, soulful ballads and jaw-dropping renditions of piano classics. Not a boring or de ja vu moment all night. There is just no other group in the SF Bay Area quite like us.

World class musicians at heart, Jean and Richard have been singing and playing piano since they were toddlers. Richard was inspired by Liberace at a young age and Jean wanted to sing like Judy Garland. Fast forward a few decades and now they make up the unique duo Key Up.

They've collectively have over 70 years of experience bringing joy and liveliness to audiences at large city events as well as private intimate gatherings.

Jean's powerful sultry voice is delightfully versatile, bringing a fresh jazzy twist to Modern Top 40 tunes as well as keying up the nostalgia from classic repertoire from Musicals and classics from the 60's. Richard can play anything. He is a one man orchestra and is a veteran class act used to playing at sold out shows.

Both have played a variety of styles and bands and bring their eclectic style to your event so that there is something for everyone.

We need to have access to a power source at most 50ft away from the stage. If your event is at night, we ask that you provide adequate lighting.
