February 13, 2026A Dream Come True
Since I was a little girl, I have always been fond of the violin. My dream was to have it played at my wedding. Kevin brought that dream to reality! He is a man gifted by God to play beautifully. He does what he does very well. He was a pleasure to work with and made sure that every song wove together in harmony. He is an excellent communicator and we'd recommend him to anyone. I also appreciate that he appropriately dressed for the occasion because one of our vendors had a not so appropriate shirt. The violinist was a pleasant surprise to everyone. They liked the egant touch of the instrument as much as we did. Thank you Kevin!

December 5, 2025⭐ An Elegant, Magical Touch to Our Christmas Celebration ⭐
We were absolutely delighted to have Kevin Vidmar perform at our annual Ladies Christmas Party at the Pawtucket Country Club, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment he began to play, Kevin transformed the room with the warm, rich sound of his violin and brought an unmistakable touch of elegance to the entire evening.
Kevin curated a beautiful selection of classic Christmas music, seamlessly blending traditional favorites with contemporary holiday pieces. His performance created the perfect festive ambiance—joyful, refined, and heartfelt. The ladies were immediately captivated; many commented that the live violin music made this year’s celebration feel especially magical.
Beyond his incredible musicianship, Kevin was genuinely kind, gracious, and easy to work with. He arrived early, was impeccably professional, and made every guest feel comfortable and welcomed with his warm demeanor.
Kevin Vidmar is an exceptional violinist whose artistry and professionalism enriched our holiday gathering beyond expectations.

August 4, 2024Amazing wedding band!
We had To Be Continued play for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and throughout dinner. Needless to say, everything from start to finish working with Kevin and the band was so smooth and wonderful. He was always so communicative and willing to play songs that we requested for the ceremony and formal reception dances, and even learned a song or two for the wedding. We had guests of all ages and got so many compliments from all about how wonderful and fun the band was. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of musicians, they made our day so special! Would 100% recommend for any event!

About
My mom strongly encouraged each of her kids to try an instrument (thanks Mom!) and I chose violin in sixth grade. I played for a year until discovering that sports and violin playing don’t necessarily agree with each other, and I quit. Worst mistake of my life, but one I am trying to make up for now. Amazingly, I still play the same violin mom bought for me back in the 6th grade. (Thanks again, Mom!)
Started playing again in college in some great bands with great names in Ohio – The Empty Bottles Band, The Water-tower Wobblers, and then Buckeye Ridge – who played major regional festivals, and even opened for George Jones, J.D. Crowe, and Doc Watson. Oh – the good old days.
I did not really play again seriously at all until mid-2017. That’s a 33 year gap – darn it.
I am seemingly now making up for lost time. Played in 2018 through early 2020 with Saddle Up the Chicken, filled in many times with Greystone Rail, played with recording artist Mary Pierce Hurwitz, and with many others as needed. I now play as much as possible with Country Wild Heart Band (CWHB) and To Be Continued Band (TBCB). See the separate CWHB and TBCB sections for more on them. I participate in Rhode Island Bluegrass Alliance (RIBA) jam sessions, and many others around the state and in South County. I also do solo gigs at times, just me and my guitar (I branched out), doing originals and covers, as well as weddings and funerals (solo or with others).
