We can not say enough about how effortlessly and exceptionally talented Dan is--our guests were wowed, as were we! While there are hundreds of talented musicians for hire, I have to say what made Dan so incredible (and what should be kept in mind) was how wonderful he was to work with. I was very specific about what music I wanted for the ceremony, when I wanted music played, and when I wanted silent pauses. Of all the planning, I was most anxious about the ceremony and making sure everyone walked down the aisle to the right music at the right time and that there wouldn't be any mix ups. Dan showed up perfectly prepared and the ceremony went flawlessly! Also, while we interviewed musicians, we had one special request--we really wanted to have our first dance on a cliff overlooking the ocean. When we asked Dan if he would be willing to play a first dance song for us on a cliff, he was more than willing and so happy to accommodate.

Dan is an exceptional musician and I would highly recommend him to anyone planning an event! Easy to work with and really made our day memorable!

About 5 days before our wedding (a very simple ceremony on her grandparents' front porch), my fiancee had the inspiration to see if we could find a violinist for the ceremony. I didn't have much hope so last-minute, but she had her heart set on it. I found Dan's listing on Gigsalad and wrote an email asking if he might be available. He responded promptly and we were lucky enough that he was able to participate. He sent us an extensive list of his repertoire and we settled on three traditional Irish / Scottish folk tunes. Dan arrived exactly on the agreed-upon time and played beautifully and on cue during the ceremony. Throughout the process he was courteous and professional, and at the ceremony he was very patient with our slightly haphazard planning. His beautiful playing made the ceremony truly special.

I came across Dan Flonta online as I searched for a trumpeter to perform at my father's funeral. Dan was fantastic throughout the whole process and kept in constant contact regarding the selection of classical pieces for the event as well as any updates. The online booking process was simple. I was very impressed with the performance.

I reached out to Dan TWO days before our surprise wedding. Dan was incredibly responsive. My expectations weren’t very high because I booked in such a rush. We were so happy that we went with Cape Cod String Quartet for our fall wedding ceremony! They did an amazing job of playing the songs that we requested. Our guests could not stop talking about them during cocktail hour! They are great musicians, extremely professional, and made the process really easy. I would highly recommend hiring them!
