Kevin was so gracious and professional! The initial person who had provided a quote backed out due to illness the day before the event. I contacted Kevin and he was willing to make the 2 hr 50 minute drive each way to perform at my Uncle's Funeral. He arrived promptly, played Danny Boy for family at the final viewing, then escorted by Uncle's casket down the aisle while playing Amazing Grace. My parents let me know after the fact that Kevin even played a bonus song in the church after the military salute had been performed outside. This was such a nice unexpected addition! All this on a day which started out -5 degrees, a very cold day. His playing was excellent and it was such a wonderful send off for my Uncle. I highly recommend Kevin for your next event

I can play for any combination of instruments (Bagpipes, Scottish Smallpipes, Irish Penny Whistles, Saxophones) in the following ways at your event ...
Weddings: As guests arrive, for processional and/or recessional, as guests leave the ceremony, and I can pipe you into your reception.
Funerals: As guests arrive, during the service, at the cemetery/gravesite.
Parties & Events: As a surprise, as patrons mingle, as a highlight for presentation, as a mini-parade.
About
The bagpipe music of the highlands grabbed me when I was just 8 years old - it's been a part of my life ever since. Over the years I've performed as a soloist, in pipe bands & Celtic bands, jazz combos & orchestras, and sung in choirs. But it's the pipes that remain at the center of my musical life - playing at family gatherings, playing with friends and great musicians, playing for two presidents and even a prince.
And I would love to play for you.
I founded Feadán Òr Pipe Band and was Pipe Major for 20 years.
I currently play with the Christmas Ceilidh Band.
I give bagpipe lessons and have taught for over 30 years.
Additional booking notes
Highland Bagpipes are great for big spaces like churches, outdoors, meeting halls.
Scottish Smallpipes and Penny Whistles are great for smaller more intimate spaces.
