There are five things that you should know about me that might not be evident from this profile.
*English is my native language but I also speak spitfire Spanish, having studied for 35 years, taught school in Costa Rica and traveled extensively in Mexico.
*I am not shy. I love to interact with guests, my crew, my hosts and other service providers when working an event.
*I was a working journalist in the Bay Area for 31 years and left the business to start my event services business.
*When you hire me, you will soon find out I’m organized, hardworking and a great communicator, but I also love to joke around and laugh.

*So far, no one has ever ordered a drink that I didn’t know how to make. Well, there was this one time. When we meet I’ll tell you the story.

Hello and thank you for stopping by. I am a hospitality professional and I truly love what I do. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and have worked as a bartender (still do), event planner, restaurant manager, banquet captain, food server (still do) and catering manager. I own and operate KB at Your Service, oversee a diverse staff and work many events myself. I’d love to work with you! When I’m not working, you’ll find me scavenging for treasures in thrift stores and yard sales, working on my second children’s book or spending time with family and friends.
