January 16, 2014My husband and I first saw Katy perform in Indianapolis at The Howl. What a beautiful voice she has....and her skill as a pianist is top notch. We hope to see her perform again in Grand Rapids, Michigan during March. She really knows how to hold the attention of the audience.

Katy will coordinate with you or any event planners prior to the event. She'll show up with her piano shell, so it looks like you have a small baby grand piano at your event along with full sound production.
You and your guests write down their favorite songs and bring them up to the piano throughout the night. Katy weaves them into a playlist for your event all the while using her improv experience with Second City to play off what's happening in the room to make it a truly unique experience.

Katy brings the fun of a piano bar directly to you! You and your friends request your favorite songs and sing along as Katy weaves them into an amazing playlist for your time together. Having honed her craft at renowned establishments like Howl at the Moon and Zebra Lounge and served as a music director at Second City, Katy blends her extensive experience with improv comedy to play off what’s happening in the room making it a truly unique experience.
I'll need power from the venue, and if you're looking for an interactive show, I'd like to be close to the audience.
Guests can make requests, so there's no set setlist, but I always say 1950s to today - pop music (country, rock, r&b, rap, disco, etc). Some artists include Chapel Roan, Elton John, Madonna, Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Alanis Morisette, Queen, Elvis, Kesha.
I'm all over the place as far as musical tastes. That's why I love what I do. I love Elton John and Chapel Roan, and Johnny Cash, and Elvis. Also Britney Spears, Queen, Billy Joel, Cher, Prince. There's so much great music out there. I love it all!
