Overview
I am primarily a solo musical act with guitar and piano, singing popular music, old and new rock, folk, pop, alternative, and country. I also do gigs with bands.
I have an eclectic musical selection ranging from 50s Rock and Roll (Elvis, Chuck Berry), 60s and 70s classic Rock (Beatles, Stones, Elton John, Billy Joel, Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac), 80s and 90s pop and alternative (REM, Oasis, Elvis Costello) and many various artists (Jimmy Buffett, Chris Stapleton, Gordon Lightfoot, John Prine, Jason Mraz).
My act can be tailored to meet your needs- from soft background music to lively join in and sing along songs, to a band for specific themes, such as my summer music band.

We booked Carl last minute for a block party and couldn't be happier that we did! His playlist was fantastic and even had interactive instruments for the kids. Carl will now be my go to for all parties and events I have!

Carl was professional, fun and entertaining for our holiday party! He sang a variety of songs and mixed in a bunch of fun Christmas songs. He brought microphones and shakers so we could sing and play along. I'd recommend Carl to others in a heartbeat!

Carl can do it all!! We have an outside 4th of July party every year. Carl was our entertainment this year and did not disappoint. He plays all the hits and takes requests, he even let me come up and sing a song or two with him. He will cater to your specific party. Not only does he sing and play the key board he is excellent with the guitar as well. I would recommend him for any size party.

What to expect
I typically start with a piano set for the first half of the show and move to acoustic guitar for the second half. I can mix it up or just do piano or guitar. I enjoy interacting with the crowd in a party atmosphere, or just creating a nice background for a group that is looking for that. I love taking requests.
About
I've been playing in my band Site 27 for several years as a vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist doing covers from the 60s to today. I enjoy playing solo shows with a mix of keyboard and guitar songs.

I provide my own sound system, and have lighting I may bring if needed. I need power near the performance area.
