Overview
I provide polished live vocals for meaningful events, including memorial services, celebrations of life, patriotic and civic ceremonies, fundraisers, and select special events.
I am a classically trained singer and actor with musical theatre and USO experience. I sing with warmth, care, and professionalism, whether performing “Amazing Grace” at a memorial, the National Anthem at a civic event, or a Broadway-style song for a fundraiser.
I perform a cappella, with recorded accompaniment, or through venue A/V. I coordinate in advance so the music feels prepared, appropriate, and easy for the host.

Kathleen recently emceed and sang at our school’s fundraising event. She was fantastic! She engaged the crowd and kept the vibes upbeat all night long. She seamlessly flowed from announcements to auction items to singing songs she wrote. We all had so much fun! Thank you for emceeing our night!

March 16, 2024Fun, professional and hilarious
Kathleen was a fabulous hostess and auctioneer for my daughter’s school auction fundraiser. She kept the adults entertained with hysterical song lyric re-writes about the school. She did a great job with the auction and brought a fun energy and sense of humor to the whole evening. I would highly recommend her.

Kathleen is hands down the best emcee I've ever seen! Her energy, humor, and ability to keep the crowd engaged are unmatched. She even crafts her own lyrics to everyone's favorite tunes! If you want your event to be a hit, book Kathleen—you won't regret it!

March 16, 2024Kathleen is the best!
Kathleen did such an incredible job creating a unique and thoughtful experience for us! She is extremely talented and included some original song lyrics, sang to the tune of our favorite music. Kathleen asked all the right questions beforehand and really conducted our evening so beautifully. She’s such a professional! We had a few last minute changes and she reconfigured everything flawlessly. HIGHLY recommend Kathleen for your event!

What to expect
What you can expect as my client:
1) We’ll discuss the event, setting, audience, and tone you want to create. For memorials and celebrations of life, we can talk through song choices, accompaniment options, timing, and any family preferences. For patriotic, civic, or nonprofit events, we can align on the program flow and performance moment.
2) I’ll recommend a simple performance plan based on your event. This may include one or two featured songs, a National Anthem performance, patriotic selections, Broadway-style music, or a short custom musical moment for select events.
3) I can perform a cappella, with a recorded accompaniment track, or through the venue’s A/V system. For larger spaces, I recommend a microphone and sound check whenever possible.
4) I’ll arrive prepared, dressed appropriately for the event, and ready to coordinate with the venue, officiant, planner, or event lead.
What your audience will experience:
A warm, polished live vocal performance that fits the tone of the event. My goal is to make the music feel meaningful, personal, and easy for everyone involved.
About
I provide polished live vocals for meaningful events, including memorial services, celebrations of life, patriotic and civic ceremonies, fundraisers, and select special events.
I am a classically trained singer and actor with musical theatre, regional theatre, and USO performance experience. I grew up in Oregon’s performing arts community, studied vocal performance and theatre at Northwestern University, and performed in regional productions, national tours, and concert settings.
My performance background includes roles in Evita, Into the Woods, Titanic, Crazy for You, and Charley’s Aunt, along with national performances as a USO Liberty Belle in an Andrews Sisters-inspired patriotic revue for veterans, active-duty military, and civic audiences.
I bring warmth, care, and professionalism to each event. Whether singing “Amazing Grace” at a memorial service, the National Anthem at a civic event, or a Broadway-style song for a fundraiser, I prepare thoughtfully and work to make the music feel appropriate, polished, and personal.
In addition to my performing background, I have years of professional experience planning, supporting, and presenting at corporate, nonprofit, and community events. I understand the care that goes into creating a meaningful gathering, and I make the music easy for hosts, planners, and families.
Additional booking notes
Technical needs vary by event and venue.
For small services or intimate gatherings, I can perform a cappella or with a simple recorded accompaniment setup.
For larger rooms, outdoor spaces, or events with 50+ guests, I recommend:
1) A microphone
2) An A/V system that can play accompaniment tracks, if tracks are being used
3) A brief sound check before the event
If the venue does not have A/V available, I may be able to bring a small Bluetooth speaker for simple setups. For best sound quality, venue A/V is preferred.
