Beyond the lens, my desire for connection and expression continues. It is in the soft moments of life where my soul sings. I can often be found immersed the worlds created in books; in the deep vibes of my favorite music – anything from opera to black metal; in the giggles of my children and the warm embrace of my husband – our inside jokes and mutual eagerness to visit the bookstore and record store for date nights; in the eternal love of our pets where tears well up in my eyes because love cannot be contained by physical constraints.
