What to Expect
Kaamya's music is personal and soft, and works well for but is not restricted to intimate locations such as coffee shops, bars, and other such small gatherings.
Kaamya is a singer/songwriter with roots in New Delhi, currently living in Berkeley. Her music has been described as a sort of sweet, acoustic longing. Her sound evokes a scene - an isolated house, wooden interior, in the middle of the mountains in a rusty fall. Music just before the golden hour.
Additional Booking Notes
Sound is kept reasonably acoustic, featuring just Kaamya and her guitar. On occasions, session musicians are also brought in, featuring the bass guitar and percussion, but this is not always necessary. Lighting and set up is preferably soft and simple - the idea is for the music to shine through without adding any unnecessary bells and whistles. Staging is also very adaptable since Kaamya is usually a solo act.
