When working with CWC, you can expect an organized, considerate approach to booking your event. Logistical questions (sound, travel, payments) are answered quickly and efficiently, and we encourage you to ask about the types of songs we perform, including if you have any favorite cover songs that you would like to be a part of our performance. We understand that the point of our performance is to make your event even better, so we want to make sure everything we do matches your vision.

Steadily building their artistic style and audience both along the East Coast and online for over a decade, New Jersey-based alternative folk band Cold Weather Company carries a diverse sound, rich with harmonies and instrumental builds. Incorporating elements of more classic folk artists like Crosby, Stills, & Nash, modern folk bands like Mumford & Sons and The Avett Brothers, as well as classical, indie rock, and experimental artists, the band combines the various writing approaches and influences of its three members, Brian Curry, Jeff Petescia, and Steve Shimchick, to create something extremely unique and entertaining.

As they surpass their 11th anniversary with more than 12 million streams and a catalog of 70+ released songs, CWC continues to record, perform, and create for both old and new fans.

For most performances, we are a three piece consisting of three vocals, two acoustic guitars, and a piano. For a stripped-down (without a sound system) performance, we would just require an electrical outlet for a piano/small guitar amps.

Our larger performances utilize our PA system (including vocal mics). We also work with a variety of talented string/horn/percussion players for more expansive performances. Please feel free to ask about that type of performance, as our initial quotes are generally just for a three-piece.

Due to our flexible sound and technical requirements, we can play an intimate living room to a full stage without any loss of quality—it just depends on the type of show you're looking for!

Cover List: In addition to over 70 original songs, we offer hundreds of covers. These artists/songs are typically incorporated either as trio sets (or solo sets during longer performances) based on event atmosphere/audience engagement. With enough notice, we’re able to learn others as well.
