Overview

Whether you book us for your wedding, corporate event, or private party, you can bet that we will give your event the personalized attention it deserves. We are fully self-contained, with PA systems and lighting that can be sized to fit any venue from very small to very large. Also note that we carry liability insurance that will cover any event. While we’ve been playing music together for 105 years and are fully confident in our ability to provide a high-quality performance, we also recognize that our most important task is to make sure that you and your guests have the time of their lives at your event. Our goal is to connect what you want most with what we do best!

Great Music, better people

Junction provided an amazing experience for my college fraternities spring formal. They were first off very flexible with us, as we were originally supposed to be set up outside but had to move inside the day off. They had no issues moving inside and did not complain. All members of the band were super friendly, showed up on time, and were well prepared for before our start time. We did not have to provide any equipment for them except having a space for them to play. They play country songs that are fit for any group and everyone can enjoy. They sound amazing and worked with us however we wanted. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!

Incredible talent and wonderful people!

Our hoedown was a hit and we have Junction Austin to thank for it! These guys were an absolute joy to work with! Each of the band members were kind, talented, and punctual. They were professional and offered a great variety of country music that was family-friendly, just as we requested. Will definitely be rebooking in the future!

Where do I even begin…
Jeff was amazing from the first contact all the way through to the end of our wedding. The band plays tight. They’re all super nice guys and even better musicians. Every single song they played was done to perfection. We submitted some super niche songs and they played them as seamlessly as the songs they selected. The lead vocals were super. But then again, so was every instrumentalist. Our wedding was at coupland dance hall, and so much went wrong in the morning of our wedding (absolutely to no fault of Coupland. I actually highly suggest you consider booking your wedding there as well). But long story short, we were nearly an hour late to start the ceremony and the guys of Junction never complained or seemed to act the least bit inconvenienced. I can’t stress enough that these guys were the perfect band and the perfect complement to our reception. By the time we got to the venue, the guys were already set up and ready to go and coordinated well with the venue owner who even complimented them on their professionalism. Our families are not even big dancers. But the dance floor was never dull or empty for a minute thanks to Junction band. They even took the time to learn songs we requested and trust me, some were pretty niche. As long as this review is, I believe it’s necessary to properly iterate how immensely happy we are that we chose Junction for our wedding and would not only choose them all over again, but also plan to use them for any future family gatherings. Absolutely can not say enough good things about the band as a whole and each and every one of the members.

What to expect

We love to interact with our audience! Our sets are typically 45 minutes to an hour, with 15-minute breaks, although we can be flexible within reasonable limits. Our goal is to have our equipment set up and sound-checked well before the start time of your event, while minimizing any disruption to the event itself. We can also assist with announcements or we can make a microphone available to whomever you prefer for emceeing your event. We are professionals and will act and dress appropriately for your event.

About

Junction is a collaboration of long-time friends and Central Texas pro musicians who enjoy performing new, and classic country hits. We've been known to pull out a classic rock song or two, as well. Junction has performed "all over with everybody", including high-profile shows at the Austin and San Antonio Rodeos as well as opening slots for artists you'd know (and hear on the radio every day). Fronting the band is dynamic singer Tim Cervantes. Tim is blessed with exceptional range and a personality that keeps the crowd engaged throughout the evening. You never know when he might head out into the audience and get people to sing along! The rhythm section consists of Jeff Wood on bass and Mark Casey on drums. Robi Rasmussen is tearing up the lead guitar and furthering that vibe that is Junction. Our newest member is Harry Viator on rhythm guitar and vocals.
We've been performing together as Junction for over six years.

Additional booking notes

JUNCTION is fully self-contained, with PA systems that can be sized to fit any venue from very small to very large. We also have stage lighting if that is required. The stage or platform must be safe and large enough to accomodate a 5-piece band, with adequate power to support our equipment. We typically need about an hour to an hour & half before the event for load-in, set up, and sound check, in order to minimize any disruption to guests or activities.
