Jumptown offers a high energy, dancer friendly, musical performance of upbeat songs with a few slow dance songs.
About
Jumptown is a Loudoun County-based Virginia eight member dance band specializing in classic funk, contemporary Blues, R&B, and Soul music.
Featuring vocals, guitar, bass, drums, sax, trumpet, trombone and keyboards (including a vintage Leslie tone cabinet with rotating speakers), this horn-powered ensemble delivers high-energy performances that keep their audiences on their feet.
Influences include Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, Santana, James Brown, Tower Of Power, Ray Charles, B.B. King, Delbert McClinton, Van Morrison, Bruno Mars, The Doobie Brothers, The Temptations, and many of the great STAX artists of the 1960's.
Additional booking notes
We require minimum space (covered if outdoors) of 25' wide by 15' deep for our stage area. We require at least 4-20 amp outlets at the stage, 2.5 hours for setup and 1.5 hours for breakdown.
