Jumbo Lump Daddy and The Backfin Boys have entertained the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck of Virginia for 25+ years, blending original music with roots-rock, alt-country, and Americana into a sound best described as "Rivahdacious!" The JLD compass spans the Chesapeake Bay, Florida Keys, and Mississippi Delta, with stops in Memphis, Austin, and the British Invasion.
Named "Best of the Rivah Country" 7 years running, with 225+ years combined experience, JLD's sound is "East Virginia Dock Rock" - wooden, diverse, and energetic.
Clayton Neal, Gary Archer, Billy Budd, and Mark DeMaria are ready to play anywhere there's salt water - or we'll bring the waterfront vibe to you.
