May 19, 2022Julia was a great addition to our wedding! She played beautiful tones before and throughout our wedding ceremony! Everyone loved her and she not only played amazingly but she also looked very sharp! She was very willing to play all the songs I requested and took instructions very well, I also asked her to play a medley of her own selection and she chose great songs such as the beetles. She’s a very talented young woman and you should definitely book her if you want to add a touch of magic to your special day.

I am more than happy to bring my own set of music from home or learn new pieces of music that you would like to be played at your specific event. I provide my own music stand and music so your job is easy- just request music before your event and enjoy the performance!
Julia Plato is a violinist living in Rochester, New York, originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania. She has recently graduated from the Ithaca College School of Music with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. During her time at Ithaca, she participated in solo recitals, chamber music recitals, pit orchestras, and orchestra concerts as the concert master and as a section violinist. Prior to her college education, she was associate concert master of the Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestra and performed in many pit orchestras in the Hershey, Pennsylvania area. Additionally, she spent summers taking master classes and performing at Apple Hill Chamber Music Festival and at The National Orchestra Institute and Festival. A versatile violinist/violist, Julia enjoys playing classical, pop, musical theater, and fiddle.
I provide my own music and music stand. However, if you would like me to be amplified, you will need to provide the equipment.
