Forrest Strings is made up of a group of teachers who love making music together! We are all part of local orchestras and have been playing wedding gigs for over 6 decades between the four of us. At Forrest Strings, we bring your wedding or special event to life with music that reflects your unique vision. Whether you’re looking for the intimacy of a solo violin, the harmony of a string duet, or the full richness of a string quartet, we offer flexible options to suit your style and budget. Our ever-growing repertoire spans a wide range of genres, and we’re delighted to accommodate special song requests to make your celebration truly personal. Additional booking notes
Our performances are fully acoustic and rarely require amplification. In most settings, our sound carries beautifully, though for very large events (generally 300+ guests), amplification may enhance the experience. We’ll bring our own music stands, and simply ask that the venue provide four armless chairs. For outdoor events, we kindly request that you plan for cover in case of inclement weather so we—and our instruments—can perform at our best.
