JourneyDay's Take Flight A Cappella

With smooth, tight harmonies and thumping vocal percussion, the group takes on hit songs from a wide array of genres and artists and perform them all with a brand new twist!
The group also performs a holiday set with a mixture of classic carols and modern holiday hits!

In 2015, When the Ireland Tour was first presented to the Napa High Choir, JourneyDay wanted to think of a fun way to raise money for the trip. He initially started this a capella group as a means to do just that. As a musician, he had been playing around Napa for several years and knew he could reach out to many local businesses for support. He approached four stand out vocalists from the choir program and pitched them the idea.

The project was an absolute success and exceeded all of our expectations. The trip to Ireland with our choir was an incredible experience.

Since then, the group, with our extreme passion for singing, have continued to perform professionally with the goal of bringing something new and unique to the Bay Area music scene. Singing hit songs from a wide variety of genres and artists (spanning many decades and performing them all without the use of any instruments), we try to bring a fresh take on everything we do, while still staying true to the original artist.

These days we perform for corporate events, private parties and weddings year round! Most recently we competed in the 2023 Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival in which we took home first place!

We've enjoyed the opportunity to sing for many notable clients including YouTube Headquarters, Clorox Company and The California School Employees association. We’ve also worked with local businesses and beyond including Silos, Boundary Oak Golf Coarse in Walnut Creek, The Napa Valley Wine Train, Doris Gentry's Napa Chocolate and Wine Festival, Napa Live Music Festival, and Napa Valley Traditions, with Cheryl from NVT being one of our biggest supporters.
