I am a software engineering leader and diversity, equity and inclusion advocate with over 20 years in the tech industry including companies like Tile, Apple, Zynga and Amex. 56% of women leave tech after 10-20 years -- I'm on a mission to change that and retain women in tech. To create a world where tech truly solves real world problems for our diverse world, we need diverse teams to come up with those solutions. For those teams to thrive, we need to have inclusive environments -- those come from leaders who understand what effective and fair management practices are. I've given over 100 talks on retaining women in tech, creating inclusive teams, and being an empathetic leader.
