Josh Taylor Guitar

I perform solo guitar in the style of folks such as Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, and Jerry Reed. You can expect some old fashioned country and jazz classics that can be a great fit for any occasion. I am very low maintenance and only require an outlet and maybe a comfy chair and can fill 3 hours with tasteful tunes that complement your event.

Josh Taylor is a guitarist and singer from Huntsville Alabama. He is a 2022 graduate of the Belmont University School of music with a specialization in Guitar Performance. An afficionado of Chet Atkins, Taylor’s specialty is deeply rooted in the Kentucky Travis-Picking styles of guitarists such as Atkins, Merle Travis, and Tommy Emmanuel. His diverse setlist ranges from the fingerstyle guitar standards of the influences listed as well as covers of modern songs arranged by Taylor for solo guitar. Josh also released his debut work “The Four Walls EP” in early July 2022. Josh was one of three global recipients personally awarded a scholarship by Tommy Emmanuel to study under him at his Nashville Skyline Guitar Retreat in Fall 2022.
