In 2003, he toured nationally with American Idol winner Ruben Studdard where he showcased his smooth style on the "Soulful Tour." Recently, he was voted "Best Male Jazz Artist" by The Alabama Music Award Committee representing the best musicians from Alabama. June 26, 2023Cashmere Williams played for a corporate event in an office filled with about 175 people. He arrived about an hour early to get everything set up and situated. We needed him more as background music rather than playing to an audience. He played throughout the event, and you could always hear music---not too loud, not too soft. And he was very cordial and always smiling when people walked through the lounge area he was playing. I highly recommend him.

Cashmere got many compliments from the writers, event team and the attendees. He helped me put together the perfect music playlist of smooth jazz for this occasion.
