His repertoire covered a variety of genres - including his own original songs - that kept everyone, from children to the more 'senior', enthralled. I don't think I have ever seen a performer engage with an audience so effortlessly; their response was so enthusiastic that the kids came running up to get photos and wanted him to stay and play games with him. People came up to me after the event and were so excited by his performance.

My typical set is 1-2 hours of just my guitar and myself, but I am happy to accommodate your needs. Creating an engaging, memorable experience is my #1 priority, which usually involves a variety of covers and originals, which can be catered to your particular event. I always keep it positive, family-friendly, and fun, but if you have any specific requests (i.e. kid-friendly/no adult language or themes, a specific genre you want me to stick to, etc.) let me know! I'm here to serve... and have fun in the process.
I love to tell stories, banter with the audience, and chat with people before and after the show. Josh Furse is a songwriter and performer in Nashville, TN. Whether he is playing his original songs or covers-with-a-twist, Josh’s energetic stage presence and honest lyrics bring spirit, optimism, and fun into any room.
Initially inspired by a love for 70's and 80's rock, Josh began writing songs at 15 years old. His songwriting influences run the gamut from Phil Collins to Thomas Rhett to Andy Grammer and more, all of whom taught him that genre does not determine a song's greatness; rather, great music comes from thoughtfulness, honesty, and a bit of charm.
Josh's love for performing is propelled by his desire to bring people together, whether that's in a booming stadium or by a quiet campfire. He's convinced, while we all grow older and become more drawn to cynicism, that entertainment and music—when done right—make us ALL kids again.
I can bring everything needed to perform, including a PA system capable of projecting to a small to mid-size crowd. Please let me know in advance if you would like me to bring my own equipment or if you already have a set-up fit for your expected crowd size.
