Josh Cherry is a born and raised native of the Ozark Mountains in Southwest Missouri. Beginning his singing career at the age of four, he has worked hard to continually improve his talent and has added nearly a thousand songs to his ever-changing repertoire. While country music is his specialty, you will hear everything from Michael Jackson to Whitney Houston, Jimmy Buffet to One Republic, and everything in between. Josh is sure to be a big hit with your audience, no matter the occasion!

Josh Cherry is a singer, songwriter, and acoustic guitarist from Reeds Spring, Missouri, delivering heartfelt performances rooted in storytelling, grit, and genuine connection. He has been singing for as long as he can remember, first stepping onto a professional stage at just four years old as part of the Andy Williams Christmas Show in Branson. He picked up the guitar at 16 and has been building his craft ever since, with his trusted Martin rarely leaving his side.
Josh has years of experience performing solo, while also fronting regional bands including Josh Cherry and the Huckle Bearers and serving as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Cherry & James. Along the way, he developed a sound shaped by powerhouse storytellers like Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, and Cody Johnson — blending strong vocals, stripped-down arrangements, and songs that feel lived-in and real.
As a solo performer, Josh brings the same energy and professionalism of a full band show into an intimate acoustic setting. His performances emphasize connection — reading the room, engaging the crowd, and creating an experience that feels personal, whether he’s playing a packed venue, a private event, or a laid-back listening room.
Offstage, Josh works as the Operations & Marketing Director for a locally owned company and is a proud husband and dad to two young daughters. Josh’s goal as a solo artist is simple but intentional: to be the performer venues want back — not just for the music, but for how he treats people, respects the room, and leaves every audience feeling entertained, appreciated, and glad they showed up.
