José Iniguez

Out of the four José concerts I have attended, this one was the most special, the most intimate. All the musicians, that night, set the stage for a warm and inviting performance. What I love most about José's passion and gifts are that they not limited to just opera performance. He has a passion for people and generosity and helping and commitment, and all of those qualities were more evident at this concert because he had an opportunity to share his heart with his audience. What a privilege to have been a part of that!

Jose has been incredibly generous in using the gift of his voice and person to provide scholarship support via his performances. By donating a portion of his annual Encanto event, Jose is providing valuable scholarship support to Eastern Washington University students. I've seen Jose perform over several years and he never fails to bring his "A" game. His passion and professionalism is outstanding. Jose is very talented and his performances are always original and filled with passion. His varying styles make for a wonderful performance that has something for everyone. I highly recommend attending any event that has Jose as a part of the program.

Beautiful production, Deseo Carmin was very fun and energetic. The guitarist plays fantastic. Jose Iniguez is fabulous. It was such a privilege to see a great opera performance . The pianist and violinist are amazing musicians.

We hired Jose for a small office farewell to an employee, and he delivered big time. Not only is he talented, he was very accommodating to our odd requests and did a great job bringing them to fruition. 5 stars!

A mesmerizing performance; Jose puts all his passion in it and creates magic, . Jose puts always a quality performance, his voice is splendid specially when he sings the Boleros. Certainly I enjoy it

This was my first time seeing Jose perform live at his Unplugged Concert at the West of Lenin theatre. I had always heard great things about Jose's concerts and now I know why. Jose is very passionate person, he is able to capture the audience through his music and heartfelt performance. I'm very happy he got to share his childhood story, passion for music, and love for Opera with us all. Such an amazing experience!

There is only one word to describe, Hose Iñiguez talent : SUPERB !!

Mr. Iniguez came to our elementary school to share his talents with us. He shared his story of how he became an opera singer and also how he overcame the obstacles to achieve his dream. We work with our students daily on setting goals to reach their dreams and Mr. Iniguez is a fantastic role model for reaching your long term goals! Our students loved hearing him sing for us; for many the first time they have heard opera! Thank you for coming to our school and sharing with us! We greatly appreciate you.

A unique experience for the Valley and the region!!! Every person both anglo and latino, both highly educated and non degree recepients, where united by your unique program. For the sophisticated attendees (anglo and latino) who have heard opera before the response was of shock and awe. For the Latino who has not heard opera before the connection to their "boleros" in your unique format, allowed them to experience unreachable art never seen by them before. Their curiosity and interest for the opera was sparked! Thank you Jose Iñiguez and this orquestra! Hope to see you again soon in our Valley!!!

My wife, daughter and I heard Jose 7 co. at Highline PAC Sept. 30. A beautiful and memorable performance, with a small banquet of different genera of music-- aria, bolero, mariachi, piano (classical, instrumental). My wife was moved by the performance to visit Jose's website and look up his life story, which she found very inspiring.

We had a wonderful evening; appreciate Jose's dedication to the arts, and his fine performance and deeply-felt singing. And it was great of him to share the stage with Mariachi Wenatchee, a wonderful program for high-school musicians. We look forward to Jose's next concert.

Jose is an extremely talented and humble singer! I've now had the pleasure of attending 2 of Jose's performances. The last one was at the Rialto theater early this month. I purchased tickets for my entire family as a Mother's Day surprise for my mom. It was truly and amazing and unforgettable experience! My father was beyond impressed with Jose's performance (not an easy man to impress) and my mom said it was the best Mother's Day gift she has ever received. Can't wait to attend more of his events!

I went to this event with my friends at La Unica at the Rialto theater in Tacoma this passed saturday night. My first time seeing live opera and it was really beautiful especially with mariachi huenachi together! Hope to attend more events featuring Jose iniguez in the future :-) That being said, if you haven't seen this yet you are missing out go see it while you have a chance to!

Jose and his 3 piece ensemble, provided Marysville with an unforgettable evening for our 10th Annual Cinco de Mayo Community Celebration. Jose's incomparable voice and the trio's amazing music will be remembered for a long time to come. They played in a middle school cafeteria, on a tiny stage with a school piano, but the sound rivaled something played in Benaroya Hall! They were absolutely fantastic, and they donated their time and beautiful music to the people of Marysville. This was completely thrilling; thanks so very much!

He tenido la dicha de seguir los conciertos de Jose Iniguez y he vivido en los dos ultimos una nueva dimension de su magia musical que hemos disfrutado con la integracion de nuevos elementos musicales que enriquecen su repertorio musical en una busqueda constant de brindarle a su public lo major de su canto.

Por ejemplo, tenemos el acompanamiento de la vibrante Viola de Eddie Nicholson y las hermosas notas del Violin de Maija Henderson - ambos por primera vez - en el Benaroya Hall el 28 de noviembre del 215.. Y tambien, el nuevo acompanamiento de la Soprano Alma Rocio Jimenez, con su hermosa voz, en duo con Jose, lograron la armonia musical en una noche de fiesta navidena en Concierto Posada, en The Sunset Hill Chamber Orchestra el 14 de diciembre recien pasado. En estos dos concierto, el logro del publico ha sido disfrutar con mayor intensidad la magia musical de Jose Iniguez que apunta nuevos logros a lo largo de sus nuevos conciertos en el 2016.

As my first time seeing a live opera performance I wouldn't have chosen a better group to experience this with than Jose and the Iñiguez family. Being a non native Spanish speaker not a single thought or emotion was lost in translation.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself and Benaroya Hall was an amazing venue! I look forward to many more performances!

In Jose Iniguez's Encanto performance he brings together styles of music not normally presented together - classic opera arias and Latin American boleros. A very talented performer, Iniguez easily crosses from arias to boleros in his performance. He is supported in both his opera selections and his bolero choices by classical pianist Jeremy Neufeld. Encanto also includes a string quartet, solo performances by Neufeld, and often a full mariachi band. Encanto is a thoroughly enjoyable and fun production for its artistic and musical quality, and its ability to bring together lovers of opera and Mexican boleros. Love opera? Dancing to boleros? Encanto has it all.

I really enjoyed seeing Jose perform at the Benaroya Business Hall. Especially enjoyed the mix with the Balero and the Opera. I've never seen that done. Because of that it made it extra unique and special

My wife and I attended a New Years event and it had been some time that we have heard such a voice that was new and unique to the moment we all were sharing with Jose Iniguez. I could not comprehend the originality from the song "Mujeres Divinas" How could he do this? With an accompiniment of single classic guitar. Simply Amazing

Not only does Jose Iniguez have a voice that draws you and captivates you but he has a big heart for the community. On numerous occasions he has donated his time and talent to support various social issues. I've been fortunated to work with him on a several occasions. He was always prepared and gracious with his time. If you haven't seen Jose perform live this is something you will want to make sure you do very soon.

Performing along side Jose Iniguez at the Benaroya Hall Encanto concert, was truly a joy and a pleasure! Jose's professionalism and commitment to any pieces he performs is truly a breath of fresh air. Jose is not only easy to work with, but also open with collaborating and incorporating his fellow artists artistic ideas and visions.

When listening to Jose from the audience point-of-view, you are captivated by his connection, as he breaths life into each work. Jose's stage presence further promotes the his intensity, sophistication and strength.

The show that Jose Iniguez and his musicians put together time and time again is a true treat to any show comer. The strength of his voice and the blend of music integrated into the Encanto concert is a one of a kind experience pleasing to all music lovers. Jose Iniguez, Bravo!!!!

Our new family tradition is listening to Tenor Jose Iniguez perform traditional music fused with Mariachi, piano and violin sounds which has created musical enthusiasm around our house hold. We look forward to following his successful career in performing opera.

I have witnessed ENCANTO evolve from performances in churches, universities and then at Benaroya Hall in Seattle!
These were magnificent and wonderfully received by the audiences with applause and standing ovations demanding "otra, otra."

I wanted to write this review because of the amazing talent that Jose Iniguez has. He was just so gracious and attentive to my guests. Not only with his wonderful charm but his amazing voice. His keynote speech after he performed was such an unforgettable experience that he made many in the audience cry. His performance of Paggliaci was one that I will aways remember.

Thank you Jose for making my event an unforgettable one. If you book Jose, be ready to be amazed.

José Iniguez was the featured, surprise entertainment last night at our summer fundraiser for Assistance League of the Eastside and delighted our 86 guests. He sang 3 wonderful arias and his presence and voice were commanding and moving and just beautiful. Charming and very personable, José was so gracious and spent time greeting and mingling with our donors. José Iniguez added sophistication and a wow factor to our event. Live opera cannot be beat for drama and impact and José Iniguez delivered. I highly recommend him!

From out of nowhere, a fresh face has appeared on the music scene in the Pacific Northwest. Jose' Iniguez has a God given talent that many can only dream about. Not only does he perform opera but he has taken the classics and married them to traditional Latin strings to enhance the musical "Bolero." His talent has not gone unnoticed. Jose' will soon be appearing in a nationwide PBS television ad where his background, passion and talents are being headlined. It is both an honour and a pleasure to write this on Jose's behalf.
