John made national news with Gayle King for his "Black Lives Matter" video, was selected by Sam Cooke estate to pay tribute to the late great Sam Cooke and aired on TV Love and Hip Hop Miami season finale 2021. He performed at Juneteenth flag raising ceremony and Paramount’s Corporate event in NYC. John performs nationwide and has earned international attention. John is truly a master at his craft. He played during guest entrances, the ceremony, and cocktail hour. Guests told us how he literally could play everything, even Cardi B- and they loved it!! I'm hoping our videographer got some footage of him playing.
We gave specific requests for our aisle entrances and they were executed beautifully. I wouldn't have changed a thing.
I also want to mention how easy the communication was during the planning process. I emailed with Pam prior to the event and she made everything very smooth. I appreciated her promptness and clarity. I hope we get to work with (and watch him play!) again in the future!

My entire group sat mesmerized by John Violinist performance. No one wanted to say a word nor move until he was completely done. Such a talent. I definitely plan to hire him again.

Out of all our vendors, my husband and I were most excited to have John play at our ceremony and cocktail hour. He is extremely talented, and we felt he would provide that extra "oomph" to our day because of it. On the day of, I received a text from his agent around 4:30pm saying John wouldn't be there until 5:50pm when our ceremony started at 5:30pm. We had to have our DJ jump in and handle the ceremony on the fly. John missed the entire ceremony which was the whole reason we wanted him at our event in the first place. Then when John arrived at the cocktail hour, his equipment wasn't working so he couldn't play with the background music as anticipated. That said, he strolled the cocktail hour and took requests which our guests loved. We did find out that he was heavily promoting himself and his Instagram during the cocktail hour - which we totally get he's up and coming and he has a business to run, and we respect that - but when you show up and miss the most important part of the gig, the wedding ceremony, it's not appreciated. To make up for missing the ceremony, he did stay for the beginning of the reception without us asking him to which was nice. John was very nice personally, and I wish I could be giving him 5+ stars in this review like we anticipated, but overall we were more disappointed than satisfied unfortunately.

John was extremely disappointed he arrived late as he is usually arrives early. He flew into New York from a gig in California. He had travel issues. A piece of his equipment was damaged in flight. As a result he no longer books events on days he flys.
John performance was very well received by our members. He is talented, personable and easy to work with. He visited our tables and engaged the audience. I would not hesitate to hire him again!

What to Expect
I am a fusion violinist and performer. The sound of classical music fused with todays popular music is to be expected. As a strolling violinist, in the appropriate setting interacting with the crowd while playing is the norm. At times joined by a pianist or band when requested. I perform on stage, wedding ceremonies & receptions, proposals, renewal of vows, birthdays and funerals you name it!
With the 1 hour package you can select any 2 songs you would like. You select a genre for all the other songs I would play during the hour. With the 2 hour package you can select any 5 songs you would like plus a genre for the rest of the 2 hours. With the 3 hour package you select any 10 songs plus the genre for the rest of the 3 hours.

I am classically trained, enjoy contemporary music and fusing the two. I play Pop, R&B, Hip hop, classical, soul, jazz, Disney, rap. Island, old school R&B. You name it and I will play it.
Setup Requirements
I usually bing my own equipment. However, if it is an outdoor space, I need a place to plug in the speaker system.
